So many people enjoy cars, there were a wide variety of great cars. The event will be from 11 am to 4 pm at Fichtner Mainwaring Park followed by a car parade through Medford downtown at 5 pm. Details are being finalized for the 2021 MDA Car show. This year’s event will feature a tribute to Dayle Neime who was responsible for this event. Unfortunately, Dayle passed away late last year from the devastating effects MDA. The proceeds from this event go the MDA Organization for the ongoing research into a cure for the disease.

Featured Upcoming Event: April 19 – 28

Dennis lead the Poker run, and attended the downtown evening shows. The week culminates with a 500-car show in the park where Dennis wondered through the park talking with car owners and taking selfies. The week is capped off at the end of the show with a car themed drive-in movie.

Downtown Cruise

Friday will be early registration, Show 'N Shine, and some special events being hosted by the Lucky 7 Casino. There will be live music, food trucks, beer garden, raffles, Poker Walk inside the Casino, and lots of great cars to see. The 38th annual Medford Cruise took place Saturday, with classic cars and cars from the '80s and newer showing and shining at Fichtner-Mainwaring Park. It all capped off with the cruise through downtown Saturday evening.

A Southern Oregon standard since 1986, the Cruise has grown to include events for all ages and all tastes. Many Cruise events are free, and the events that do cost money are set at affordable prices, with proceeds benefiting local youth organizations. The Medford Cruise is a culmination of the hard work and dedication of countless supporters, sponsors, and volunteers. In its 38 years, the Medford Cruise has developed to include events that entice all ages throughout the region. It’s truly not-to-be-missed on the car cruise circuit with fun and free or inexpensive events throughout the week.

A portion of the proceeds goes to benefit of youth organizations in southern Oregon. Over its history, the organization has contributed over 530,000-dollars to youth organizations. And continued the next day with hundreds of cars on display at Fichtner Mainwaring park along with a concert and a raffle. People of all ages were having a blast checking out all kinds of cars throughout history in anticipation of the downtown cruise. The week is filled with wonderful activities, events, and the nicest cars you could possibly see driving the streets of Medford. It’s one of Southern Oregon’s can’t-miss events, and it keeps getting better every year.

d Annual Lucky 7 MDA Benefit Car Show

The downtown cruise events have grown so big that ’80s and newer cars and ’79 and older cars are held on two separate nights. Individual separate Show ‘n Shine events were held for Mopar, Sports Cars, Hot Rods, Ford, and GM makes. Complete with awards, these events draw huge crowds each evening. The event is being held over on, Friday, August 13, and Saturday, August 14.

Contact the sponsoring club for updated information. “We could well over have 600 cars this year, there are coming from as far as Florida and as close as down the street, so its going to be a really great car show. All of our events are free for people to attend”, said Bill Maentz, Medford Cruise Association. The Cruise happened, and it was quite a happening event with an impressive community response. The Medford Cruise quickly grew into such a large event that the Medford Cruise Association (MCA) was formed to manage it.

The fee to Cruise and/or Show is $40 before May 31st and $50 after and is included with vehicle registration. Show ‘N Shine Day for Curry County Cruisers at the concert featuring the Red Elvises. You won’t want to miss this fun-filled event centered around all truck.
